Embrunman Triathlon
Every year, on August 15th, the toughest triathlon in the World is organised in Embrun. At 0600h, more than 800 participants throw themselves in Lake Serre-Ponçon, to arrive running over the finish line some 10 hours later, even 20 hours for some athletes!
Every year is this the biggest event of the Hautes-Alpes, with participants and supporters from all over the globe. Out of experience (Johan participated –and ended- the Embrunman already five times) we know that this kind of challenge needs a good preparation. Therefore we would like to serve as operating base for triathletes who want to prepare for this special day.
Participants who come to train for this event and stay with us will be helped by all possible means to obtain their goals.
During the week of the race you will be extra spoiled and you will be brought to the start in a excellent condition. The rest is up to you, but even then the possibility of encountering Johan and his supporters is very likely.
Book early for this event, because all hotels in and around Embrun will be fully booked in no time.
